Sérilence is a Bed & Breakfast ( in La Garde Freinet, close to the Riviera Coast. It is in the immediate hinterland of Saint Tropez (20km) and has the lively Côte d'Azur at your fingertips. Villa Sérilence is situated in the calm and peaceful setting of the overwhelming nature of the MASSIF des MAURES and is at approximately 1 km from the authentic Provencal village of La Garde Freinet (on 350m altitude). The Bed & Breakfast is newly built on a quiet private road. Villa Sérilence is surrounded by hills and has a panoramic view deep into the valleys (as far out as the Mont Sainte Victoire).
Starting from Sérilence you have all your touristic needs within reach. Sun, sea, beach, culture, nature, peace and quiet, good food and drinks and of course lots of interesting and inspiring (day) trips.
B&B Sérilence is sittuated near the Mediterranean coast and in the mountai ridges of the Maures; 'Entre Azur et Maures'. From Sérilence you can make trips to Saint Tropez, Sainte Maxime, Grimaud, Ramatuelle, La Croix Valmer, Borme les Mimosas, Fréjus/Saint Raphael and the Esterelle mountains if you go towards the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Or inland towards Tourtour, Lorgues, Cotignac, Fayence or the famous Gorges du Verdon with Lac Sainte Croix. You can easily also take daytrips to Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Monaco, San Remo (Italy), Marseille or Aix en Provence.
The nearest beach is at the picturesque harbour village of Port Grimaud (15 km), in the Bay of Saint Tropez. From here you can also cross by boat to Saint Tropez and Sainte Maxime....

La Garde Freinet
La Garde Freinet is an authentic mountain village with a long history. The first mention dates back to the late 9th century. The village lies in the middle of the nature reserve "MASSIF des MAURES".
In the hills are many (hiking) trails with beautiful views of the MASSIF and across the Mediterranean (Bay of Saint Tropez). It is also a privileged spot for hiking, cycling and motorcycling sports.
The village itself has a variety of restaurants, bars, galleries, shops including bakers, butchers and supermarkets. Twice a week, Wednesday mornings and Sunday mornings there is a market with fresh local produce and specialities.
